It is with great sadness that we, the family wish to announce the passing of Charles "Charlie" Hachey, life partner of Suzanne Lavoie of Vanier Blvd., which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday April 28, 2019 at the age of 76.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Frank and Regina (Boudreau) Hachey.
Besides his life partner, he is survived by his sons: Rémi Hachey (Doreen) of Paquetville and Christian Hache of Halifax, Shawn Lavoie (Rachel Alexander) of Bathurst and Kurt Lavoie of Moncton; his daughter, Nathalie Hachey (Yvon Mallais) of Paquetville.
His Grandchildren: Hayden, Charlie-Dawn, Boyd, Chad and Debbie. Also survived by his sisters: Blanche (Leonard Caissie) and Odilla (Norman Basque) both of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Yvette Brideau.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at the Elhatton Funeral Chapel on Friday May 3rd at 11 a.m.
