Bathurst – Mrs. Roberta "Bertha" Miller, wife of the late Charles Miller, 93, of Bathurst, formerly of Robertville, passed away Wednesday May 22nd, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst following a brief illness.
Born in Shirley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Gladys (Doucet) Adams.
She is survived by five children: Edmond Basque (Jocelyn) and Ronald Miller (Sandra) both of Saint John, David Miller (Bonita) of Salisbury, Sydney Miller(Jocelyne) of Bathurst and Brenda Rickard (Matthew) of Fredericton.
20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
One brother: Roger Adams of Saint John and three sisters: Evangeline Clish of Rawdon, QC, Lorraine Campbell (Frank) of Grand Bay, NB and Germaine Remouf of Campbellton.
Her loving companion of over 50 years, Cléophas Roy of Robertville.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by three children: Sheila, John and Terrance; three brothers: Felix, Alexandre and Chuck; two sisters Marjorie Pallack and Violet Murphy.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral service will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Roberta may be made to the IWK Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
