It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Réal Vienneau announce his passing on Monday, October 7th, 2019 at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes in Bathurst at the age of 87.

Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Jean and Olga (Aubie) Vienneau.

He leaves behind his beloved spouse of 25 years, Paula Jackson of Nicholas Denys. One son Richard Vienneau (Cory Muir) of Ta Ta Creek, BC and one daughter Ellen McDonald of Wilberforce, ON.

He will be lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by three brothers: Claude Vienneau of Sioux Sainte-Marie, ON,

 Gérard (Irene) of Beresford and Roger (Juliette) of Tetagouche; three sisters: Blondine Godin (Léo) and Anne-Marie (Yvon Comeau) both of Montréal and Rose-Marie Pitre (Paul) of LaPlante.

He was predeceased by three brothers: Clifford, Albain and Raymond and a sister Doris Power.

Réal loved to play his fiddle and enjoyed playing at many local dances. He loved his family, old cars, camping and walking along the beach.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s funeral home chapel. (www.elhatton.com).

Donations in memory of Réal may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
