Bathurst- Mrs. Amélia Hachey of Orser Dr, Bathurst passed away on Thursday 28th August, 2003 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst after a short illness at the age of 54. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Amanda (Daigle) Hachey. Her husband Wilbert Hachey died in 1997. She is survived by: One son, Alain of Bathurst, NB Four daughters, Louise Cormier (Luc) of Robertville, NB Susie Hachey of Bathurst, NB Linda McGrach of Nicholas Denys, NB Marie-Line Boudreau of Bathurst, NB Two brothers, Roland Hachey of Ontario Nick St.-Pierre (Pam) of Beamsville, ON Four sisters, Colleen Begic (Slavko) of Montreal, QC Malvina Boudreau of Robertville, NB Marie-Anne Chiasson, Pauline (Paula) Landry, both of Bathurst, NB Eleven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The body rested at Elhatton funeral home, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst. The funeral Mass was celebrated from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter avenue, Bathurst on Saturday 30th August, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
