It is with heavy hearts that the family of Odette (Landry) Sisk of Bathurst, NB announce her passing which occurred peacefully on June 12, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 81.
Born in Collette NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre & Philomene (Martin) Landry.
Odette is survived by her children: Dale (Wally) Knowles, Karen (Levis) Boudreau both of Bathurst, NB, Connie Melone of Ottawa, ON, Calvin (Julie) Sisk of Bathurst, NB, and Kurtis (Kellie) Sisk of Quispamsis, NB. and daughter in law Shirley Sisk of Bathurst.
Siblings: Ovila (Annette) Landry of Collette, NB, Aurore Maillet and Eva Gallant both of Rogersville, NB.
Grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Jennifer (Morris), Jonathan (Judy), Andrew (Jalisia), Melissa, Michelle (Josh), Tyler, Lea (Pierre), Jeremy (Vivienne), Benjamin, Kaylee (Tyler), Jaimee, Jasmin and Hilary. 3 great-grandchildren: Cole, Owen and Amelia.
In addition to her parents, Odette was predeceased by her husband Leo Sisk, her long-time partner Armand Bernard and her son Derek Sisk as well as her sister Anita Sisk and brother Robert Landry.
Odette was an avid reader, and loved knitting, crocheting and watching movies including her favorite series Little House on the Prairie. She took painting classes and enjoyed creating a painting for each child and grandchild. She also loved spending time at family events and keeping in touch on Facebook.
The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Comfort and the staff of Chaleur Regional Hospital for the care and compassion given to our mom.
Due to the current health restrictions, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private celebration of Mom’s life will take place at a later date.
