1942 – 2021

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Antoinette Lavigne, wife to the late Byron Lavigne, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Friday August 20, 2021 at the age of 79.

She was the daughter to the late Wilfred and Celina ( Couture ) Huard.

She worked for 37 years for the District School system as a custodial engineer, on her off time and into retirement she enjoyed quilting and sharing her creations with family and friends.

She leaves behind one sister; Elizabeth Devereaux (late Lawrence) of Bathurst.

Two daughters; Cindy Lavigne and Kelly Huard of Bathurst.

Two sons ; Frank Lavigne ( Jeannette ) of Moncton and Aaron Lavigne ( Marianne ) of Bathurst.

Six grandchildren; Curtis, Monika, Ryan, Shannon, Tamara and J.J.

Four great grandchildren; Damien, Lucas, Felix and Raina.

She was predeceased by her siblings; Edna, Viola, Valerie, Carmella, Ella, and Francis.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m, Tuesday August 24, 2021 from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Antoinette may be made to a donation of the donor’s choice.
