It is with great sadness we, the family, wish to announce the passing of Geraldine “Gerry” Cormier Caux on Friday April 8th, 2022 in Bracebridge, ON at the age of 70 years old.

Born in Rexton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Alice Cormier of Richibucto, NB.

She worked as a registered nurse in Alberta and New Brunswick, as well as with her late husband Gilbert Caux at his Denture clinic in Bathurst and Campbellton. She was devoted to God and to her family. Mom had a small stature, but such a big heart; she gave everything to her family and to those she cared about. What she lacked in height, she made up for in kindness, love, and compassion towards others.

Gerry is survived by her brother Harry Cormier (Louise) of Richibuctou, NB, as well as her four children: Melanie Powell (Adam) of Barrie, ON; Daniel Caux (Andrea) of Miramichi, NB; Christine Caux (Dave) of Vancouver, BC; and, Michel Caux (Nicole) of Yarmouth, NS, and her nine grandchildren: Savanah, Kahlan, Jodan, Mikeal, Cambria, Jack, Eliot, Zoey and Liam.

There will be no visitations at this time, but she will be later laid to rest next to her late husband, Gilbert, in Bathurst NB.

Both Gil and Gerry were avid volunteers who spent time planning and going on missions’ trips together. Donations in memory of Gerry may be made to Hugs for Kids, Servant’s Heart Ministries, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Mom, you will be greatly missed by the many lives you had a positive impact on. Until we meet again. Xo
