Bathurst - Mrs. Elizabeth Pelletier Lavigne, 98, wife of the late Walter Lavigne, of Riverside Dr., and formerly of Rough Waters, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (December 3, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Josephine (Haché) Pelletier. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter in 1982. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by: Three sons: Gordon Lavigne (May) of Saint John, NB Gerald Lavigne (Sandra Peter Paul) of Pabineau Falls, NB Wesley Lavigne (Marilyn) of Bathurst Eight daughters: Anita Coté of Montreal, Que. May Lavigne Mawhinney of Nepisiguit Falls, NB Blanche Lyons (Benoit) of Nepisiguit Falls, NB Norma Birri (Tony) of Montreal, Que. Geraldine Gendron (George) of Montreal, Que. Estelle Lavigne of Nepisiguit Falls, NB Rita Lavigne of Saint John, NB Yvonne Vienneau (Livain) of Rough Waters Many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two daughters, Doris and Eleanor. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (December 8, 2005) at 1:30 p.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
