Bathurst- It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing of Jan Boruta, husband to Barbara (Wrozyna) Boruta. Which occurred peacefully at his residence on Saturday December 10th, 2022, at the age of 79.

Born in Poland he was the son to the late Jan and Zofia (Kaleta) Boruta.

Besides his wife he leaves behind three children: Martin Boruta of Peterborough, Ont.. Sonia (Chris) Sanders of Ennismore, Ont. and JoAnne (Paul) Clement of Big River.

Eight grandchildren: Kaitlin, Michaela, Zofia, Aeryn, Matthew, Daniel, Miles and Connor.

One great grandchild: Elijah.

His three sisters: Hania, Lidia and Irena. One brother: Pawel.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Donations in memory of Jan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
