Mrs. Mildred 'Mitzi' Kennedy, 82, wife of Joseph Kennedy, of Church St., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (December 27, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Brockville, ON, she was the daughter of the late William John and Violet (Morris) Green. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Three sons: Stephen Kennedy (Vicki) of North Tetagouche, NB Joseph Kennedy Jr. (Michelle) of Big River, NB John Kennedy of Bathurst. Three daughters: Shirley Kennedy (Ray Ouellet) of Moncton Arlene Wood (Don) of Oxford, NS Joyce Veniot (Barry) of South Tetagouche, NB One sister: Ellen Boal of Kanata, ON Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (December 31, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
