Salmon Beach - Irwin Good, 92, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Thursday (February 23, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Salmon Beach, he was the son of the late Francis and Emily Esther (Sargeant) Good.
He worked in Farming and Fishing and was retired from the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill, and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club. He was a life long member and former Warden of the Parish of New Bandon and served as treasurer of St. Alban's Scout Troop.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Daley) Good.

Seven grandchildren; Kevin, Kristine, Darcy, Myles, Nancy, Bruce, Neil, five great-grandchildren; Jordan Brett, Trevor, Mackenzie and Mathew. Several nieces and nephews.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Burial will be in the St. Alban's Cemetery in the spring.
