It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rexford Jerome Edwards of Bathurst NB, announce his peaceful passing at Chaleur Regional Hospital on November 20, 2023, at the age of 92.

He was a man of principle and strong faith. A proud member of the Irish society, Rex was instrumental in the design and acquisition of the Celtic Cross located along the basin in Bathurst.
Rex married his wife Patricia in Dalhousie NB, on Oct 1st, 1960.
They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Rex was a loving father to three children. When they were young he took the family on numerous adventures and each winter he’d build a skating rink in the yard.
