It is with great sadness the family of Émerentienne Boucher, 87, of Bathurst announces her passing on Monday, February 5, 2024 which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes, after a lengthy illness, with family by her side.
Born in Pointe-Canot, NB she was the daughter of the late Anthime and Albertine (Duguay) Savoie.
She was the loving mother of Gerard, Reginald (Pauline Armstrong) and Colette Boucher (late Robert Barnaby) all of Bathurst.
She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kerry Line Boucher and great-granddaughter, Peyton Russell.
Two sisters: Raymonde Michel (Pierre) and Rose-Marie Gallant (late Clarence) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ralph, siblings: Laura, Émilienne, Gerard, Joseph, Lucien and Marie-Anne.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes for the care give to Émerentienne over the years. Also a special thank you to the nursing staff at the palliative care unit of the Foyer.
