It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Raymond Edward Hicks announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, August 7th 2024 at the age of 59.

Born in Bathurst, Raymond was the son of the late Henry “Hum” Hicks and the late Rita (Melanson) Hicks.

He leaves behind to mourn his siblings: Gail (Bruce) Milton of Bathurst, Jean (Alan) Sullivan of Moose Jaw, SK, and Kathy (late Arnold) Avery of Salmon Arms, BC, his trusted dear friends, David MacDonald and family and Denis and Joanne Mallais and family.

Also, his nieces: Shelley, Terri-Lynn and Cristin and nephews: Drew, Shaun and Adrian.

Besides his parents, Raymond was pre-deceased by his brothers, Stewart Hicks and Daniel Hicks.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2024 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel. 

Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
