Maria Theriault, 87, of Bathurst passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her residence.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Louis and Winnifred (Duguay) Theriault.

She is survived by three children: Rolande (Gerard) Comeau, Roderick Doucet and Harry Doucet all of Bathurst.

Nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one daughter; Yvette Doucet, four brothers; Edgar, Fred, Aurèle, Medard, three sisters; Theresa, Claire and Jean. Husband Desire Martineau, father to her children; Roland Doucet.

The family would like to thank the extra mural nurses, Mallais home care and Ellen Rowe.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th at 10a.m. from Elhatton’s funeral home chapel, Bathurst.
