Canobie - It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Rosann Eddy, of Canobie, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 47.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Mildred (Knowles) Eddy and the late Duncan E. Eddy.

Besides her mother of Clifton, she is survived by two children: Alyssa Eddy of Calgary, AB and Austin Eddy of Clifton.

Two brothers: Harry Eddy of Janeville and Joseph (Renée Haché) of Canobie. One sister, Janeth Ernst (late James) of Austin, TX, USA. One niece, Kelly Ernst of Austin, TX, USA.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Louanne Rae and a brother, Patrick.

Rosie was a kind, generous person whose bright spirit lit up the lives of many. Her quick sense of humor was a constant blessing to those lucky enough to know her. She was also a true Creative - talented at drawing, painting, cooking, gardening or whatever she turned her artistic heart and mind to. The beach, especially at the family cottage was her favorite place.

She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 1 p.m. Thursday December 12, 2024, at the Central United Church, Clifton, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Rosann may be made to the Central United Memorial Fund or a favorite charity.
