He enjoyed people of all ages and walks of life and spending time with family and friends and picking berries all over the country.

As Walter’s health declined due to Alzheimer’s Disease, he was moved into Residence Bel Air Memory Care Facility in Beresford in May of 2023. Everyone there became part of his new family, and he loved everyone there. He was treated royally there by the staff. He especially enjoyed the live music there on the weekends where he and Marg could still get in the odd dance when he was well enough.
We are forever grateful to everyone there for making his last years happy and loved.
We are so very thankful to the professional staff of the Emergency Department, 2nd West and Palliative Care at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for making his last days comfortable.
