It is with deep sorrow that the family of Diane Fitzgerald announce her passing, which occurred peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Diane was the daughter of the late John Curry and the late Margaret Curry (Estrabrooks).

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sherry Fagan (Robert) of Bathurst and Stephen Fitzgerald of Amherst, NS.

Her grandchildren, Tasha Fitzgerald (Shane) of Bathurst and Chelsea Fagan (Damien) of Moncton; and her great-grandchild, Brodie Couture (Madison) of Bathurst.

Her siblings, Barb Gould (late Arthur), John Curry (Diane), Wayne Curry (Marilyn), Carol Crossman (Bill), and Gary Curry (Barb), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Diane was predeceased by her siblings Doug Curry (late Betty) and Linda Hawkes (Jim).

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered support during this time.
