Janeville - It is with deep sadness that the family of Donald (Arthur) Morrison, of Janeville, husband to Katherine (Sealy) Morrison announces his passing which occurred at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Donald and late Dorothy (Mackenzie) Morrison.

Arthur is survived by his two sons: Keith (Leigh Ann Cumming) of Cambridge Bay, Nunavik, and Brice (Jennifer Gibb) of Moncton; daughter Nancy Chibry (Mathew) of Calgary, AB and four wonderful grandchildren; Quynn Cormier (Samuel) and Gage Morrison, both of Moncton, Kate and Jude Chibry both of Calgary, AB.

Also survived by sisters: Lorna Veneau (late Gary) and Evelyn Sealy (John) both of Canobie, Kathy Dempsey (Michael) of New Glasgow, NS and Darlene Dempsey (Harold) of Pokeshaw: in-laws Penny Morrison (late Burton) and Ellis Jagoe (late Mary) and too many cousins, nephews and nieces to list.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers; John (late Adeline), Burton. As well as sister Mary Jagoe.

Arthur was a licensed mechanic and a lifelong fisherman, whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of life will take place at Central United Church, Clifton on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 2 pm. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
