Lola Miller, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully at home on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 85, with family by her side.

Lola enjoyed her career as a registered nurse and as an instructor at the Bathurst School of Nursing until her retirement.

Once retired, Lola, along with her late husband John, spent many happy hours tending to their garden and involved in church related activities.

Lola is survived by her children John Miller of Fredericton and Anne Brown (Wally) of North Tetagouche; one granddaughter Mackenzie; sister Marilyn Manuel of Fredericton and bother George Jenkins of Hardwick, NB.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ault, Dr. Dean Hickey and the wonderful staff of Extra Mural for the care they provided over the years.

Funeral service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Lola may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Bathurst Public Library, or a charity of the donor’s choosing.
