It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Simone Perron which occurred at the Robert L Knowles Veterans Memorial on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born in Cobalt, Ontario, she was the eldest daughter of the late Lucien Ladouceur and late Anita Ladouceur (Cote).
She leaves behind her two children: Lynne Good (late Kevin) of Bathurst and Gino (Suzie) of Fredericton.
Six grandchildren: Marc, Andy Jr., Amily, Nikolette, Maxime and step-granddaughter Whitney.
Four great and step great grandchildren; Livia, Keisha, Emelyn and Oliver.
One brother: Denis (Anne).
Two sisters: Germaine and Louise (late Joe).
Many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Anicet (Andy), son Luc, brothers George (Suzanne) and Richard.
She was primarily a homemaker, raising her children, providing daycare for others, creating crafts at home including her famous knitted slippers, worked at the Chaleur Regional Hospital gift shop, K.C. Irving and a coordinator for the annual fundraising for the Red Cross for the Chaleur region.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr Cauchon and the staff and family at Robert L Knowles Veterans Memorial for the love and care provided to our mother.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 29th, 2025, at 11 am from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel.
Donations in memory of mom may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
