Bathurst - Mrs. Hectorine Lavigne, 95, wife of the late Raymond S. Lavigne, formerly of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (June 30, 2006) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Legace) Doucet. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Raymond S. Lavigne, in 1989. She is survived by: 10 children; Regina (Leonard) Bennett, Angelie (Athur) Doucet, Priscilla (Wilfred) Aubie, Murielle (Herman) Pitre, Leona (Roger) Doucet, Jeannine (Lionel) Boudreau, Hector (Odila) Lavigne, Emile Lavigne, Rheal (Louise) Lavigne all of Bathurst, Evelyn (Michael) Cloutier from St.John, NB. One sister; Ethel Chiasson de Minto, NB. 40 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel. The body will rest after 7:00 pm (Saturday July 1st 2006) at the Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com). Funeral mass will be held on Monday (July 3, 2006) at 1:30 pm from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Burial was in the St-Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday July 1st 2006 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Monday ll:30 am until time of funeral.
