Bathurst - Mrs. Annie Roy, 93, wife of the late Melvin Roy, formerly of Bridge St, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (January 27, 2007) at the Villa Sormany, Robertville. Born in Six Roads, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Mazerolle) Boudreau. She is survived by: Three sons: Peter Roy (Rita) and Gerald Roy (Elizabeth), both of Bathurst Alfred "Ti-Num" Roy, of Brantville, NB Two sisters: Cecile Tremblay of Tremblay, NB Marguerite Gallant of Bathurst One brother: Stanley Boudreau of Bathurst Six grandchildren; Shirley, Robert, Kenneth, Glenn, Sylvie and Kevin. 13 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a grandson; Jean Marc. The body is resting at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (January 30, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, St., Mary’s Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
