North Tetagouche - Mrs. Lucille Linden, 68, wife of Donald Linden, of North Tetagouche, passed away on Tuesday (February 6, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness. Born in Rivière Bleu, Que, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Anne (Pépin) Côté. She was involved actively in the Bathurst Ladies City Dart League and was a member of a team that represented NB at the “National’s". She was past President and Treasure of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary, Bathurst, and was overall captain of it's Ladies Bowling League. In later years, she was involved in the Legion Shuffle Board League. Besides her husband, Donald, she is survived by: Twin daughters: Michelle Linden (Sandy Beckingham) of Dalhousie, NB Linda Wobie (Bryan) of Woodstock, ON One son: Robert Linden (Tracy Thibodeau) of Fredericton, NB One brother: Roland Côté (Gisèle) of Lac St. Jean, Que. One sister: Gertrude Côté of Dolbeau, Que. Three grandchildren; Laura Lee, Braeden, Aaron, two great-grandchildren; Kai, Hayden, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by an infant son; Mark Allan, brothers; Benoit, Raymond, sisters; Cécile and Adrienne. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (February 9, 2007) at 4:0 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
