Bathurst … Mrs. Eliza Mae Spence, 90, wife of the late Melvin Spence, of King Ave., Bathurst and formerly of Green Point, passed away on Tuesday (February 20, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Bathurst Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Port Elgin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Vera (Bennett) Goodwin.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
She is survived by:

Doris Alexander (late William) of Big River

11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a daughter; Marjorie.
The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon (February 23, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St., in the spring. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
