Beresford - Joe Sever, 64, of Beresford, died Saturday (December 6, 2003) at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Zamlaka, Croatia, he was the son of the late Mato and Veronika (Novak) Sever. He was employed with Brunswick Mining since 1980. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, the former Lorraine Godin in 1982. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Vick) Sever, 2 Sons: Stephane Sever (Abby) of Pitt Meadow, BC Erik Sever (Shelby) of Surrey BC 1 Brother: Drago Sever of Croatia 2 Grandchildren; Matthew and Carlee 1 Step-son: Jason Levesque (Sheila) of Dieppe 1 Step-daughter: Lori Bernard (Serge) of Tide Head 1 Step-granddaughter; Ali The body is resting at Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (December 10, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be the Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery, Beresford.
