Bathurst - Mrs. Eveline Roy, 82, wife of the late Emery Roy, of Coffin Cres., Bathurst, died suddenly on Wednesday (December 17, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Nicolas Denys, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Elizabeth (Roy) Cormier She was pre-deceased by her husband, Emery Roy in 1990. She is survived by: 3 Sons: Raymond Roy (Norma) of Montreal, Que. Robert Roy (Louise) of Bathurst Roger Roy (Patsy) of Meadow Lake, Sask. 3 Daughters: Claire Fradette (Jim) of Thunder Bay, ON Nicole Roy of Montreal, Que. Violette Thomas (John) of Truro, NS Grandchildren; Dayna, Shannon, Michelle, Gregory, Daniel, Chanelle, Mark, André and Eric. 4 Brothers: Emile Cormier of Robertville Jose Cormier (Edith) and Alphée Cormier (Violette) both of Montreal, Que. Majella Cormier (Léona) of Beresford Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by sisters; Leona, Eva, brothers; Fred, Nicholas and Arthur. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon (December 20, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
