Bathurst- Mrs. Léocadie Roy, 83, of Nigadoo, wife of the late Romeo Roy, passed away on Saturday (October 27, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Lameque, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Léocadie (Doiron) Guignard.
She is survived by:

Géraldine Roy of Dalhousie,
Diane (Jacques Davidson) of Nigadoo.

23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a grandson; Richard Duguay son-in-law; Fortunat Duguay, 3 sisters; Cécile, Emmérentienne, Ernestine, 3 brothers, Gélas, Midas and Georgie.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathust. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday afternoon (November 1, 2007) at 4:30 p.m., from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nome de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will take place in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
