The death of Mrs. Jacqueline 'Jackie' Robertson, 57, of Miramichi and formerly a long time resident of Bathurst, wife of John 'Robby' Robertson, happened on Saturday (January 3, 2004), as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Allardville.
Born in Noranda, Que., she was the daughter of the late Ronald Murray and Annie 'Anne' (Dennis) Brown.
She owned and managed with her husband several businesses in Bathurst, including Confidential Shredding and Recycling Ltd. In recent years, she fulfilled a life long dream of becoming an Educator for children.
She was a volunteer of the Thumbody Program of Mental Heath Canada and she worked and volunteered for Big Brother/Big Sister After School Program and Boys and Girls Club of the Miramichi. She was a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bathurst Chapter.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday evening (January 7, 2004) at 7:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to any Children's Charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
