Bathurst - Mrs. Sheila Rabasse, 69, wife of John Rabasse, of Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (December 4, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Little Shippagan, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Effie (Campbell) Marks. She was a member of the New Brunswick Scottish Cultural Society. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Two sons: Sandy A. Rabasse of Vancouver, BC Jason Rabasse (Susan) of Edmonton, AB One brother: Lloyd Marks of Bathurst Four sisters: Jean McLeod and Enid Vibert, both of Miscou, NB Margaret Rivers (Eugene) of Enderby, BC Lillian Bernier (Nelson) of Chapleau, ON Two grandchildren; Jeffery, Maurissa, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister; Ella May Marks. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday afternoon (December 8, 2007) from 2 to 4 p.m., at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A memorial service will be held in Miscou at a later date.
