Carr Brown, 77, of Brown Cres., Bathurst, died suddenly Monday (June 16, 2003) at the Bathurst Regional Hospital.
Born Bathurst, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jane (Carter) Brown.
He served in World War II, with the Royal Canadian Navy in Canada and was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
He was a self-employed welder for most of his life
He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Joyce Winton in 1999.

He was pre-deceased by a brothers, William, Clifton, and a sister, Wanda.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon (June 20, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the United Church Cemetery, St. Anne St. A Legion service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
