Bathurst - Elmer Bryanton, 77, of St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (December 14, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief battle with diabetes.
Born in Summerside, PEI, he was the son of the late Frederick Edward and Mildred Beatrice (Carrol) Bryanton.
He owned and operated Union Taxi in Bathurst for many years.

Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Shirley and Mildred.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (December 19, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
