Beresford – Mrs. Jeannette Hachey, 75, wife of the late Ernest Hachey, of Beresford, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Bathurst, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday (February 23rd, 2008). Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Duncan and Maria (Pitre) Pitre. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ernest Hachey, in 1997. Survived by their twelve children Ronald (Francine), Victoria, BC Fred (Linda), South Tetagouche Rachel (Leopold Duguay), Bathurst Nicole (Larry Baker), Lakeview, NS Maurice (Brenda), Bathurst Liza, Regina, SK Marc (Lynda), Ottawa, ON Roger (Debbie), Oshawa, ON Daniel (Rhonda), Regina, SK Yvon (Sylvie) Dieppe, NB Suzanne (Glen Fox) Truro, NS Michel (Michelle) Regina, SK As well as 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters Aurele (Gilberte), Quebec Louis (Irene), Beresford Elise Craig, Moncton Angela (Allain Mercure), Moncton Reina Robichaud (Magella Hachey), Beresford As well as numerous nieces and nephews And good friend Arthur Roy The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday (February 26, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Bathurst, in the spring.
