Beresford – Mrs. Jeannette Hachey, 75, wife of the late Ernest Hachey, of Beresford, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Bathurst, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday (February 23rd, 2008).
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Duncan and Maria (Pitre) Pitre.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ernest Hachey, in 1997.

The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday (February 26, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Bathurst, in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
