Bathurst - Mrs. Fay Lavigne, 67, wife of Paul Lavigne, of St. Theresa Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (March 2, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Verdun, Que. she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Blue) Aitken. Besides her husband, she is survived by: One son: Stephen Lavigne (Christine Frigault) of Halifax, NS One daughter: Sandra Lavigne (Jeff Kerr) of Fredericton One brother: James Aitken of Lancaster, ON 2 grandchildren; Samuel and Jessica. 2 nieces and 1 nephew. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday evening only from 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (March 6, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish St. Theresa cemetery in the spring.
