Mrs. Lois Valiery Duncan, 83, of Bathurst, wife of the late Clark 'Dunc' Duncan, died Saturday (June 21, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Eureka, NS, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Wilhemma (Grant) MacNaughton. A long time resident of Nova Scotia before moving to New Brunswick in 1985 she lived a and full life, was involved with Meals on Wheels for a number of years and was always on hand to help her many friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Clark 'Dunc' Duncan in 1978. She is survived by: 1 son: Jim Duncan (Nicole) of Dunlop 1 Daughter: Ardathe Duncan Reid of Markam, ON 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Ardathe in 1988. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday (June 24, 2003) at 7:00 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. The family will receive visitors following the memorial services.
