Bathurst – It is with great sadness that the family of Milton Joseph Chamberlain of St. Mary’s Ave., Bathurst, NB, announces his passing at the age of 78. Milton passed away peacefully at the Chaleur General Hospital on Friday (May 16, 2008) with his immediate family members at his side.
Born in Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late James Joseph and Jane (Watson) Chamberlain.
Milton was an employee and retired from the Brunswick Mines. In his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, woodworking and never missed an opportunity to get together with his many immediate family relatives and his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 57 years, Evangeline (Couture) Chamberlain.

11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

At the familys’ request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A church service will be held on Wednesday (May 21, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral on St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst .
