Ste Thérèse - Ernest Arseneau, 84, of Ste Thérèse, passed away Monday (May 19, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Grégoire and Georgina (Frenette) Arseneau.
Ernest was retired from Brunswick Mines.
Besides his wife, Hedwidge (Roy) Arseneau, he is surived by:
One son:
Gilles (Carolle) of Robertville
Two daughters:
Lise (Hubert Arseneau) and
Madeleine (Francis Frenette) both of Beresford
Two grandson; Rémi, Marc, three granddaughters; Celine, Julie, Cindy.
Four sisters:
Marie-Anne Cormier (late Edgar) of Petit-Rocher
Marie Blanche Haché (Omer) of Ste Rosette
Sr. Marie Rose Arseneau, r.h.s.j. Bathurst
Dora Godin (late Patrice) of St André
Five brothers:
Régis (Catherine),
Albénie (Noëlla),
Donat (Georgette) and
Léonard (Anita), all of Robertville
Clovis of Thunder Bay, ON
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by 4 brothers; Wilfred "Freddy", Réal, Alcide and Emerild.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (May 22, 2008) at 7:00 p.m. from Eglise Ste Thérèse of Robertville.
