Bathurst - Herman Caissie, 75, of Notre Dame St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (May 31, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Adelard and Helen (Doucet) Caissie. He worked for the former W.J. Kent & Co. Ltd. for over 42 years. Besides his wife, Edna (Vienneau) Caissie, he is survived by: Seven sons: Kenneth (Mary Lou) of Halifax, NS David (Melissa) of Bathurst Gary of Bathurst Philippe (Ginette) of Bathurst Claude of Bathurst Gerald (Darlene MacDougald) of Miramichi Denis (Shirley) of Bathurst One daughter: Diane Hachey (Roland) of Robertville Adopted daughter: Patricia Arseneau of Sormany, NB Two brothers: Leonard (Blanche) and Ronald (Marilyn) both of Bathurst Three sisters: Anna Noel of Bathurst Rita Devereaux (Arthur) of Bathurst Marie Kenny (Ernest) of Bathurst 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers; Joseph, Edgar and Alex. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (June 4, 2008) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
