After a courageous battle with cancer, Cindy passed away at home on June 2, 2008 surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Gilles, daughter Ellie and son Joel.Cindy was the daughter of Thomas Hunter and the late Eleanor Garrett of Bathurst. She is also survived by her special auntie Helena and uncle Gino Cavicchiolo; her sister cousins Lisa Cavicchiolo and Lori Doucet (Kevin); nephews Justin and Ryan; grandmother Irene Hunter; brother Robert (Tabatha). With her warmth, generous and caring personality, she quickly became a part of the Clair family and will be sadly missed by James and Rachel, Suzanne (Sean) and Richard; as well as an overwhelming network of loving and supportive friends. Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Wednesday June 4, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 5, 2008 at Paroisse Sainte Anne-des-Pays-Bas at 11am with Father Donald Savoie as celebrant. For those who wish, memorials in Cindy’s name may be made to NB Hospice Palliative Care Association, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to thank the Extra Mural nurses and staff for the devotion and support they provided to Gilles and Cindy during this difficult period. They would also like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for Cindy in both Fredericton and Saint John.
