Bathurst - Charles Ellis, 82, of O'Neil Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (June 5, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Belledune, he was the son of the late Harold and Jean (Miller) Ellis.
He was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
Besides his wife, Helen (Chapman) Ellis, he is survived by:

Three grandchildren; Kerry, Andrew and Kaitlin.

Gregory (Lois) of Belleville, ON
One sister:
Cora Lindsay of Bathurst
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by brothers; George, Arthur, Raymond and sisters; Margaret, Opal, Bernice, Betty and Mary.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Monday afternoon (June 9, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Legion service will be held from the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Charles may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, First United Church or a favorite charity.
