Beresford - Edmond Aubé, husband of Dorine Haché, 90, passed away, July 6, 2008 at The Chaleur Regional Hospital to Bathurst.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of late Wilbrod Aubé and late Joséphine Doucet.
Edmond worked on his farm for most of his life. He also worked as a security guard at the Brunswick Smelter in Belledune for 17 years.
Besides his loving wife since 69 years, Edmond is survived by his children who miss him;
Five sons;
Wilbrod (Sonja) Aubé of Hamilton Ont.
Clément (Yvette) Aubé,
Eric (Wendy) Aubé , all of Beresford,
Roger (Pierrette) Aubé of Dunlop,
Robert (Denise) Aubé of Tremblay.
Three daughters;
Angéla Aubé,
Rachel (Clarence Légère) all of Beresford,
Nicole (Jim Pickard) of Bathurst.
20 grandchildren and their spouses, 14 great grandchildren, two sons-in- law; Donald Poirier and Vernon Card, one daughter-in-law; Pauline Frenette.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers; John, Edgar, Ernest, Albert, Samuel and his sisters; Sr. Imelda ndsc, Sr.Ernestine ndsc, Mae, Opal.
Visitation were at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford, Tuesday July 8, 2008.
Funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday July 9, 2008 from Saint-Nom de Jésus church in Beresford.
Burial was in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Edmond, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciate by the family.
