Bathurst … Donald Raymond Everard Doucet, 52 yrs, husband of Cindy Rodgers Doucet of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, passed away on (August 4th 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Everard J. and late Elizabeth “Betty” (Ryan) Doucet. He was a self-employed woodworker in the winter and Gowan Brae Golfer the rest of the year. Honest man, good friend and an avid Scrabble adversary to his wife Cindy. Survived by his wife, Cindy (Rodgers) Doucet and; Two daughters: Ashley and Colleen, both at home A stepson Evan Smith (Tammy) of Bathurst One sister: Debbie Porter (Dave) of Quispamsis, NB Mother-in-law, Annette Rodgers of Bathurst Sisters-in-law; Brenda (Thane) of Pembroke, ON Carol (Blair), Karen (Doug), Lisa (Danny) all of Bathurst. A brother-in-law, Bruce (Carol) of Big River, NB There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday (August 7, 2008) at 4:00 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., with Father Greg Culligan officiating.
