Bathurst - Médard Pelletier, 92, of Robertville, passed away on Friday (September 5, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late William and Elida (Marris) Pelletier.
He was a veteran of World War II, with the Royal Canadian Army in Canada and overseas. He worked as a wood cutter for most of his life.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Victorine (Arseneau) Pelletier and a son; Jacques Pelletier and a daughter; Jeannette Pentland.
He is survived by his wife, Marie-Rose Bertin Pelletier

12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (September 8, 2008) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
