Robertville- Alphonse Frenette, 78, of Robertville, passed away on Friday (October 17, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Appolinaire & Marie Anne (Cormier) Frenette.
He served in World War II with the 22nd Regiment (Val Cartier) of the Royal Canadian Army and was member of the Herman J. Good V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. He was a former employee of Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill.

Valérie Lavigne both of Robertville
Agathe Mallet of Montreal, Que.
5 grandchildren; Jason, Sarah, Ashley, Paul, Robert and 4 great-grandchildren; Dylan, Madison, Owen and Brandon, several nieces and nephews.
The body will rest on Monday (October 20, 2008) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday evening (October 20, 2008) at 7 p.m. from Eglise Ste Thérèse, Robertville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
