Bathurst - Mrs. Ada Chamberlain, 87, wife of the late Albert Chamberlain, formerly of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (October 28, 2008) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Majeric and Elizabeth (Duguay) Chiasson.
She owned and operated her own special care home for over 35 years.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert, in 1996, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was deeply loved and sadley missed by:

Alexandre (Murielle),
Eugene (Betty) and
John Wayne (Eva), all of Bathurst
Three daughters:
Yvette Gray of Big River
Donna Lee Bernard (Thomas) of South Tetagouche
Sandra Daigle (Cyrill) of Baie Ste Anne, NB
27 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by 2 sons; Reginald and Roger.
The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (October 30, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Bathurst. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
