Bathurst - Herbert Dodge, 83, of Youghall Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (January 2, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bridgewater, NS, he was the son of the late Fred and Winnie (Cleveland) Dodge.
He served during World War II with the Royal Canadian Army in Canada and overseas, member and Past President of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, Past President of the Bathurst Rotary Club. He worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill.

Elizabeth Vienneau of Bathurst
Ann Frenette (Daniel) of Oklahoma, USA
Three grandchildren; Bryan, Bradley and Christopher.
One sister:
Marion Cameron (Milledge) of Liverpool, NS
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a son; John, 2 brothers; Ronald and Paul.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (January 6, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Herb may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Saint George's Anglican Church or a favorite charity.
