South Tetagouche, NB - Raoul Lagacé, 70, of South Tetagouche, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday February 2, 2009.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Ludger and Léda (Chiasson) Lagacé.
He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Bathurst and became a teacher in Quebec before returning to Bathurst where he was a Sales Representative for the former Speed Way Express.
Besides his wife, Réjeanne (Savoie) Lagacé, he is survived by:

One daughter:
Lynn Lagacé of Moncton
Five brothers:
Raymond (Norma),
Jean-Ludger (Jeannine),
Jean-Claude (Juliette),
Leonard (Jean) and
Simon (Gisèle), all of Bathurst
Two sisters:
Rita Lagacé and
Jeanita Doucet (Gérard) both of Bathurst
2 grandchildren; Rebeka and Maxime
Several nieces, nephews and will also be sadly missed by the breakfast crew at MacDonald's.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning (February 6, 2009) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
