Bathurst - Siméon Noël, 82, of Sunset Dr. Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (March 26, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Lamèque, he was the son of the late Alexis and Adéline (Haché) Noël. He worked as a salesman for the Eddy Group until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers, Council #827, Bathurst. Besides his wife, Marie-Rose (Duguay) Noël, he is survived by: One daughter: Hélène Noël (Jean Desrosiers) of Bathurst Three sons: Basile (Anita Ploj) of Ottawa, ON Michel (Suzette Hébert) of Vancouver, BC Gilbert of Montréal, QC Two sisters: Thérèse Noël of Lamèque, NB Hectorine Cristofalo of Florida, USA Adopted sister: Anna Ferron of Montreau, QC 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers; Sylvio, Valmond, Paul-Emile and a sister; Yvette Paquin. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (March 30, 2009) at 2 p.m. from Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from noon until time of Funeral.
