Bathurst - Claude Boucher, 80, of Rough Water, NB, passed away on Saturday (March 28, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Antoinette (St. Jean) Boucher.
He worked as School Principal at the former South Bathurst Elementary School and Assistant Deputy Minister of Advanced Education and training until his retirement in l988. He was a member of the Msgr. Wheaton Council Assembly #l935.

John Mark (Claudine Savoie) of Shediac River, NB
Christopher (Beverly Vienneau) of Bathurst

Linda Susan Mullen (Dale) of Yarmouth, NS
Two brothers:
Jean (Albertine) of Bathurst
Roe (Julie) of Robertville
One sister:
Yvette Doré (André) of Quebec City
6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Gilberte and Marie Reine and a brother Gerard.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 31, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Claude may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or a favorite charity.
