Beresford- Joseph Theodore (Doran) Aubé, of Beresford, NB passed away Thursday 9 April, 2009 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst following a brief illness at the age of 90. Born 12 June, 1918 in Beresford, NB he was the son of the late Augustin Aubé and the late Emma Cormier. His wife, Marguerite Faye Craig predeceased him in the summer of 2005. He was a veteran of the Second World War and spent his final years living in his home with his youngest daughter Paula and her family. Joe (Doran) worked for the provincial government for several years and upon his retirement he enjoyed his grandchildren and spent many great days on the snowmobile trails and boating out on the bay of Chaleur during the summer. He was the beloved father of: five daughters; Dianne (Daniel Burgoyne) of Bathurst. Jolene (late Bob Glenn) of Prescott, ON Louise (Eugene Gamache), Paula (Gilles Robichaud), Patricia (Roger Roy) all of Beresford. Two sons: Michel (Marie Mason) Daniel (Gisèle Haché), both of Beresford. Grandfather to: Carmella, Daniel, Marc, Gilles, Andréa, Micheal, Gisèle, Rachel, Lucie, Robert, Siobhan, Danielle, Michelle, Johnny, Monique, Isabelle, Samuel, Genevieve and Laurence. Great grandfather to Austin, Nicholas, Bradley, Madison, Owen, Brandon, Mathew, Jonathan and Patrick. One sister: Hilda Duguay. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven brothers: Jim, Fred, Gerard, John, Regis, Henry and Clarence; four sisters: Henedine, Blanche, Dora and Winifred. Visitations for the late Joseph T. (Doran) Aubé will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday 12 April, 2009 at the Heritage Funeral Home, 270 Centre St., Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Beresford on Monday 13 April 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery later this spring. Donation in Memory of Joseph T (Doran) may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
